The Nursery and Pre-Prep are situated in their own purpose-built micro-school, next to the main Prep School building. The Preparatory School has use of its own sports hall, swimming pool, libraries, dining halls and play areas. Nursery and Reception are located in the Upcot building, Year 1 in Hermitage building and Year 2 and 3 are based in Priory building, within the Pre-Prep School.
From Year 4 pupils move across to the main Prep School building. Our curriculum takes the best of the English National Curriculum and blends it with the richness of the international approach, encouraged by the exciting diversity of the region. Mandarin, Bahasa, Spanish and French are all offered during your child’s time with us, and we also offer the greater rigour of the Common Entrance course to ensure a smooth transition to the Senior School as well as leading independent British public schools.
Our focus is very much on the individual child discovering the excitement of learning in a nurturing and stimulating environment, shaped by our commitment to Marlborough College’s ethos of ‘Conversation, Compassion and Companionship.’ Therefore, we also offer a full programme of creative, physical, cerebral and artistic activities as well as the mainstream team and individual sports.
Our passionate, professional teachers deliver an outstanding education, in a setting that offers the space and support for your child to explore the world around them and discover their own talents and interests. We ensure that our pupils are not just well-prepared for the next step in their journey, but are inquisitive, confident and happy.
