Day Housemasters and HousemistressesRenuka Chandran is passionate and enthusiastic teacher who is currently the Head of Malay Department in Marlborough College Malaysia. Graduating with a First Class honours degree in Management from Universiti Sains Malaysia, she excelled in Malay language and literature as a part of her course. Renuka loves to read and travel. Upon graduation she pursued her career in human resource serving the oil and gas industry for three years. It was when she became a mother she realised the positive impact education could bring to a child’s development and decided to dedicate her professional life in that field.
She began her teaching career at Fairview International School, teaching Malay Language to primary students for two years. She then moved to Tenby International school heading the Malay language department while pursuing her certificate in Teaching from University of Cambridge. In 2016 she was given the opportunity to expend her career at Marlborough College Malaysia. Her passion for education has contributed to the excellent results achieved in IB and IGCSE Malay. Renuka is committed to ensure the success of the Malay Language Department and is dedicated to improve the learning experience for all students.
