Tom was educated at Cheltenham and Oxford, where he took an MA in Modern History, before embarking on a successful career in marketing. He settled on a change of vocation after accompanying his wife on a school trip to India and completed his PGCE at Reading in 2013. Tom was Head of History & Politics at LVS Ascot for three years before moving into a role as boarding Housemaster to a co-educational sixth form house. Tom has taught History and Politics at IB and A level for a number of years, specialising in US government and political philosophy. He enjoys football and cricket as well as coaching school debating and ultimate frisbee. Tom is married to Rebecca – Housemistress of Gaia – where they live with their three children.
