Head of Physics: Paul Inskip

Heads of Department (SS)

Paul grew up in the heart of the black country in England before he graduated from Kingston University with a BSc Honours in Geology and Geophysics before successfully undertaking his PGCE in Physics at Loughborough University. Paul’s first teaching job was at the Teddington School Middlesex, before spending several years as a Physics teacher and Head of Year at St Christopher’s School Bahrain. He then moved to Cyprus where he was Head of Science and Physics as well as Head of Years 10 and 11. Paul and his wife Charlie arrived at Marlborough in August 2017. They have two children, Poppy and Peter, both of whom attend the Prep School.

Paul is a keen supporter of the mighty Leeds United football club and also Bristol Rugby, where he was a proud season ticket holder before moving overseas. Having retired several times from playing front row rugby, he now happily watches both his children from the sidelines at the local pirates’ rugby club, when they are not travelling around the world with the Formula 1 Grand Prix teams, having wonderful adventures.
