Andrew is originally from Lancashire but moved to the North-East of England where he received a BEng Hons from Newcastle University. His teaching career has taken him to Namibia, Venezuela and Tanzania. During this time, Andrew taught HL IB Maths and led 2 expeditions up Kilimanjaro.  He is a keen traveller along with his wife, Soraya and their daughter who all recently completed a week working with the Perhentian Turtle Project. He has recently taken up golf again after a gap of 25 years.
