Head of Humanities: Bronwyn McDiarmid

Bronwyn is originally from Kwa Zulu-Natal in South Africa and was educated there. She attended Rhodes University where she obtained a degree in Classical Civilisations. She then completed her PGCE whilst working at a startup school, Willow View Academy, as a teacher and the HM of the boarding house. She also taught at her Alma Mata, Treverton College. Throughout her teaching career Bronwyn has taught from Years 5 to 12 and has also taught a wide variety of subjects including English, Drama, Accounting, Biology, Geography and History. However, her passion has and will always be in the Humanities. She has a love for most outdoor activities and particularly enjoys hiking, camping, swimming, hockey and jogging. She also enjoys writing, painting and photography. Bronwyn is married to James who is also a teacher.
