Jamie is a former boarding pupil of Sutton Valence School, an HMC independent school in Kent where he enjoyed rugby, hockey and played county cricket and was a junior member of Charlton Athletic Football Academy. Upon leaving school, Jamie enjoyed a professional rugby career playing over 150 first-class games in both the English Premiership and RFU Championship, playing for clubs such as London Irish; Worcester Warriors; Bedford Blues and Doncaster Knights. Jamie also represented his country at England U21’s and England Students. He now holds the position of Director of Sport at the College and has been integral in shaping and developing our sporting ethos and reputation across Southeast Asia. Jamie has a degree in Sports Science and Coaching from the University of the West of England and has recently completed his MSc in Coaching Science from Leeds Beckett University. He has a proven track record of developing junior athletes and is responsible for the Marlborough Straits series, where we welcome over 200 schools each year to compete in a variety of sports. Jamie is married to Rebecca, who also works at the College as a Nursery Beak and they have three children: Olivia, Isla and Jasper.
