After graduating from the University of Manchester with a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry, Justine worked as a full-time research chemist for Glaxo Wellcome for four years.

She started her teaching career in Zambia with Voluntary Service Overseas before returning to England to complete her PGCE at Nottingham University. Justine taught for four years in Nottingham before moving to Machabeng College, The International School of Lesotho. Before coming to Marlborough she spent five years at the Modern English School Cairo, where she was KS3 Science Coordinator and British Section Assessment Coordinator.

Justine enjoys travel and cooking. She is married to Kenton and has two sons.
