Welcome to Wallace House, the first Day Girls’ House at Marlborough College Malaysia. It is an honour and a pleasure to be Wallace Housemistress and to work with a team of talented tutors to oversee the academic and pastoral care of the girls during their time at the College. We aim to encourage every girl to make the most of the many opportunities on offer at Marlborough, preparing them for the world beyond.
Wallace has established an identity, which reaches beyond the attractive house swipes in pink and midnight blue quarters, and we enjoy competing in a wide range of House competitions. Members of Wallace regularly represent the College at sporting fixtures, perform music in assembly and take part in a wide range of service and creative activities. Pupils’ success is celebrated in our weekly house assembly. Our motto of ‘Fortitude et Misericordia’ (Courage and Mercy), encourages the girls to follow the College ethos and fully adopt the Marlborough three Cs of Compassion, Companionship and Conversation. I look forward to welcoming your daughter into Wallace House.

Pupil Perspective | Wallace House
Marlborough is a very inclusive school that makes you feel welcome from the very moment you join. There are a variety of activities that suit any personality from sport, to music, or art. I personally enjoy how this school makes it possible for you to be in lots of different activities that make you a very all-round person.

Coming to Marlborough has given me so many opportunities and experiences, from new sports, to drama aspects to school trips. I particularly enjoy the extra-curricular options made available to all students, especially morning clubs. I felt welcome from my first day as the community here is fun and relaxed.

Marlborough was the best choice I ever made, there are so many opportunities from sport to the arts.

MCM provides their students with a balance of academics, sports and co-curricular activities.
MCM gives all their students the opportunity to learn and play a medley of sports that may not be available in local schools. I especially enjoy the sports that MCM introduces to us, like lacrosse, touch rugby and ultimate frisbee.
Furthermore, I enjoy the company of being in a day house and am fortunate to be part of this community.

At Marlborough people are so open-minded and so good-natured towards others. We have so many fun activities and every Friday we get to try an activity that we have chosen. You meet so many new and lovely people, and you will end up have some of your closest friends here.
At Marlborough College it is all about the people, everyone is so accepting!
