Senior Houses
The Senior Houses are for pupils in Shell to Upper Sixth (Years 9-13). The working week at Marlborough is full. There is a wide-ranging curriculum and sports and activities are part of the day-to-day timetable. There are additional opportunities offered before and after school including the International Award, further sports and fitness, Arts, Societies and specific revision programmes. All Boarding and Day pupils in the Sixth Form have Saturday morning lessons.
Pupils’ personal growth is at the core of a Marlborough education and pupils will grow as individuals and as a team (in their Houses as well as sporting, debating and other teams). There are also opportunities for them to experience leadership and responsibility.
Whilst at Marlborough, the pupils are at the centre of an intricate structure that supports them through their academic, emotional and physical growth. The three Cs are central; Compassion, Companionship and Conversation.
