On Saturday, 25th April, the Marlborough College Prep Choir joined a harmonious sea of voices at The Big Sing, a vibrant choral festival hosted by the British School Kuala Lumpur (BSKL). This event was a spectacular celebration of music, bringing together talented young vocalists from 18 different schools across the region.
The festival provided a unique platform for our pupils to step outside the familiar walls of the College and immerse themselves in a high-energy, collaborative environment.
Beyond the music, the day was a wonderful opportunity for social growth. Our pupils spent their breaks and rehearsal intervals interacting with peers who share their passion for performing, while making new friendships within the wider international school community.
For the Marlborough Prep Choir, The Big Sing was more than just a trip to Kuala Lumpur; it was a chance to build confidence and experience the joy of collective achievement. Watching our pupils lead with their voices and represent the College with such confidence was a proud moment for everyone involved.
We are already looking forward to next year’s event and the many songs yet to be sung!
