Educational Trips
Our trips’ programme is structured so that we offer trips and excursions from Reception (age 4/5) and continues through to the Upper Sixth (Year 13).
We have trips to museums, galleries, science centres, outdoor education venues (treks), farms and educational weekends. In addition, the boarders have a full programme of excursions at the weekends – a mix of fun activities and occasional outdoor educational visits.
In the final year of the Prep school (Year 8) all pupils take part in a Residential visit for up to six nights. Further up the College, we run more adventurous trips, to various places including Langkawi, Borneo, India, UK, Australia and USA. We also run field study trips as part of the IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme and regular sports trips including international competitions.
The most adventurous of our trips are the expeditions as part of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award. Pupils in Remove work towards the Bronze Award that requires six months of commitment to developing skills, physical recreation and service. They must also prepare for, and complete, an adventurous journey. The Award presents a unique challenge to our pupils and makes a significant contribution in shaping their character.
