• Deposit top up is required when moving from Nursery to Reception, from Year 6 to Year 7, from Hundred to Lower Sixth; and from day or boarding to day boarding or full boarding respectively.
• When a pupil leaves, the Refundable Deposit will be repaid by means of a credit without interest to the final payment of Fees or other sums due to the School on leaving.

Marlborough College Malaysia offers a wide range of after-school co-curricular activities designed to enrich each pupil’s learning experience beyond the classroom.

Parents are invoiced termly in advance for these activities. The standard expectation is 30 lessons per academic year, averaging 10 lessons per term.

Should parents wish to cancel an activity, written notice must be given at least half a term in advance. Unless notice is received, lessons will automatically continue into the following academic year.

MCM reserves the right to cancel an activity at any time and will provide as much advance notice as possible in such cases.

School trips are not included in the school fees. The school offers outdoor education trips, overseas sports trips and optional trips throughout the academic year and this will be notified by the relevant beaks who organise the trips. Once a trip is signed up for it becomes chargeable. Refunds will only be given if a replacement for the trip can be found. All trips are calculated on a cost-neutral basis.

External examination fees for IGCSE and IB Diploma are in addition to the school fees. Fees are payable after registration and will be included in the termly fee invoice. Fees are payable by the due date stipulated by the College and are generally payable prior to the examination sessions.

Examination fees include registration and subject fees set by the examination boards and handling charges covering courier charges, invigilation costs and other administrative costs. As a guide, families can expect to pay between RM3,500 to RM5,000, depending on subject choices. This fee is subject to SST.

A family with three or more children at the College at the same time is entitled to a 5% discount for the third child and 10% for the fourth child or more.

Families who choose to pay in advance within the same academic year are eligible for the following discounts:

– 1.5% discount for payment of one term in advance
– 3.0% discount for payment of two terms in advance

If you would like to take advantage of the early payment discount, kindly complete and submit an Early Payment Discount Scheme Form to begin the process.

All school fees are payable by bank transfer by the first day of each term. Please be careful to send the transfer to M East Sdn Bhd, not Marlborough College Malaysia as the bank will return payment at a charge for an incorrectly named beneficiary.

All payments should be made in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR), the exact amount must be received and all bank charges are to be borne by the remitter.

School fees can be remitted to the College in 10 equal monthly instalments. Instalments are payable from 1st July – 1st April to ensure that total fees are remitted to the College in advance of each term.
