To be considered for a place at Marlborough College Malaysia, please register your child with us by completing the Registration Form. There is a non-refundable registration fee of MYR2,000.

In order to ensure that we can fully support each child on their learning journey, we need to be aware of children who have specific learning needs.  If this applies to your child, please declare this on the Registration Form and contact a member of the Admissions team if you wish to discuss this.

For candidates whose first language is not English, we will assess their language proficiency as part of our usual entrance assessments.

We invite our Pre-Prep applicants to spend some time in the classroom with us, allowing them to experience school life. During this visit, we will gently assess them as they interact with their peers and engage in a classroom environment, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported throughout the process.

• Candidates will be asked to attend an introduction and observation session.
• Candidates will be asked to bring something they can ‘Show and Tell’.

Offers are made throughout the year based on merit and the availability of places, and are communicated via email. To confirm a place, families must pay an acceptance fee and a refundable deposit equal to one term’s fees, depending on the year group of entry. Payment secures the place, and an invoice for the first term’s fees will follow, payable by the first day of term. If a candidate chooses not to accept the offer, we kindly request written notification as soon as possible so the place can be offered to another family.

All new parents are sent an Information for New Parents booklet when joining our community. This provides important information about joining the School.

An Induction Day for all new pupils will also be held at the start of each term.

Prep | Year 4 to Year 8 | Ages 8-13

• Candidates will be asked to complete an English paper. (20-30 minutes)
• Candidates will have two/ three 10-minute interviews.
• Candidates will sit a Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT).
• Candidates will sit an EAL Test (OPT) if necessary.
