A small number of pupils elect to take individual IB subjects rather than undertake the whole Diploma. This decision to follow this route through the 6th Form is made in consultation with the pupil, parents, the HM, the Head of 6th Form and the IB Coordinator. Guidance should also be sought from the College’s Head of University Guidance because it can affect the choices available at the undergraduate level. The selection of the number and nature of courses and the level at which they are studied is quite open. To ensure the 6th form experience is as fulfilling as possible, the College requires pupils to continue with CAS and one other ‘Core’ element.
