IB Diploma

What is the IB Diploma?

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma is an educational programme for 16-19 year olds that has global recognition. It provides a gateway qualification recognised and valued by universities all over the world.

The Diploma is underpinned by the Learner Profile comprising 10 desirable attributes in all high functioning individuals: knowledgeable, thinkers, inquirers, communicators, courageous, open-minded, principled, balanced, caring, reflective.

To put our student grades into context our most recent cohort in 2020, which was made up of a non-selective intake, scored an average of 36.3 points (out of 45). This is well above the World (30) and Asia Pacific (33) average and places Marlborough College Malaysia in the top 2% of schools globally who offer IB.
