IGCSE Examinations
In the first three years of Senior School at Marlborough College Malaysia, pupils prepare for and sit IGCSEs, typically taken at the end of Year 11 (US Grade 10). These qualifications are based on two years of study, with assessments primarily through exams, though some subjects include coursework.
Pupils follow a core curriculum of English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, and Sciences, with four additional subjects chosen from an annually updated list. Some pupils with advanced skills in languages or maths may take certain IGCSEs early in Year 10. Most pupils sit between eight and ten subjects.
International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma at Marlborough
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma is a globally recognised programme for 16-19 year olds, providing a highly respected qualification that opens doors to top universities worldwide.
