House Spirit Day Lent Term 2024

On Thursday, 18th January, the anticipation was high as eager pupils from the Prep School gathered wearing their colourful tops for another House Spirit Day at the College. Building on the success of previous years, this event brought together pupils from each House for a morning filled with spirited competition, camaraderie, and enthusiasm.

Under the guidance of the Heads of House and with support from the dedicated Year 8 Pengawas, the day unfolded with a vibrant mix of energy, teamwork, and friendly competition. From traditional Egg and Spoon Races to the thrilling Welly Throw competition, challenging obstacle courses, and the timeless tug of war, each year group embraced the opportunity to try something new, working both collaboratively and independently to conquer the various challenges.

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the steeplechase. As the sun shone on the athletics track, every year group gathered to witness their House compete, with older pupils taking the lead and younger ones joining in as the race progressed through an array of obstacles. In a triumphant display of skill and determination, congratulations are in order for Merlin, who emerged victorious in the steeplechase. Well done to every pupil who actively participated or supported; all contributed to the success of House Spirit Day.
