Prefects Afternoon Tea

On Thursday 7th December, Prefects were invited to a delicious afternoon tea at the Lodge with the Master, Mr Burbury. It was the perfect thank you for their hard work this term, and an opportunity to discuss the highlights of the Michaelmas Term.

Prefects enjoyed the British tradition of afternoon tea, complete with jam scones, finger sandwiches, carrot cake and fresh coffee and tea. The highlight was undoubtedly the chocolate-covered strawberries which quickly vanished. The conversation flowed and covered a range of subjects from the correct pronunciation of scone to the offers students received from their first choice university.

The Master and students talked about the student committees and some of the proposals they had brought forward, after considering fellow pupil feedback. It was a very relaxed afternoon and the perfect way to end the Michaelmas Term.
