Pearson Outstanding Learner Awards

We are delighted that our highest-achieving IGCSE cohort has also been recognised by both the Pearson Learner Awards and by Cambridge. The Cambridge winners will be announced later in the term, but our Pearson Outstanding Leavers achieved an impressive 10 pupils with the highest marks in Malaysia, one pupil with the highest mark in Asia, and 37 Pearson Excellence Awards for achieving a grade 7 in 5 subjects or more.

The awards covered the following subjects:

  • Highest Mark in Malaysia for Religious Studies
  • Highest Mark in Malaysia for History
  • Highest Mark in Malaysia for Geography
  • Highest Mark in Malaysia for Spanish
  • Highest Mark in Malaysia for Japanese (2 students)
  • Highest Mark in Asia for Computer Science 
  • Highest Mark in Malaysia for Chemistry 
  • Highest Mark in Malaysia for Physics
  • Highest Mark in Malaysia for Art


Hundred IGCSE Devised Showcase

7th November 2023 | 7pm at | Theatre

The Hundred IGCSE Drama group will be performing the pieces that they have created over the past half term as part of their IGCSE course. The pupils were given the theme of ‘A Hysterical Historical’ and all the pieces are comedies looking at historical events.

Jazz Charity Dinner

18th November 2023 | Theatre | 7pm | RM200

We are delighted to invite you to the first Jazz Charity Dinner on the 18th November 2023 at 7pm in the Theatre. 

This lovely evening will feature the Jazz Band, the Senior Quintet and solo singers from the Senior School. There will be a mix of traditional and modern Jazz repertoire from various artists, such as Dave Brubeck, Bruno Mars, Michael Bublé, Nat King Cole and Astor Piazzolla.

The cost of the ticket is RM200 which includes a three course meal and a welcome drink. Those attending will also be welcome to bring their own alcohol should they wish to enjoy a glass of wine with the food and music.

The dress code is Jazz Club Attire (smart casual, no denim, flip-flops, singlets or shorts).

This is an adult (18+) only event.  All proceeds will be used to support one of the College charities.

MCM Fencing Club Demonstration and Try-Out Event

20th November 2023| 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm | Senior Sports Hall

We are delighted to announce that we will be adding a Fencing Club to the many sports and activities on offer at MCM.


In order to introduce the pupils to this exciting and highly skillful Olympic sport, we will be holding a Fencing Club Demonstration and Try-Out Event on Monday, 20th November 2023, from 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm in the Senior Sports Hall.


This is open to all Year 4 to Upper Sixth pupils, and parents are very welcome to come and spectate from the Senior Sports Hall balcony.

Christmas Fair Sunday | 3rd December 2023

We are very excited to be in the planning process for this year’s Christmas Fair, and it promises to be an even bigger and better event than last year. One of the gems of the fair is the Gift and Food Hall, where all your Christmas shopping needs can be fulfilled. Registration is now open if you would like to reserve a table to sell your products.

The pricing per table is as follows:
One table indoors @ 250RM
Two tables indoors @ 400RM
One table outdoors (covered area) @ 200RM
Two tables outdoors (covered area) @ 350RM

Christmas Card 2023 Competition

It is time for the annual Christmas card competition. Winning entries are made into Christmas cards that will be released for sale.

  • A5 or A4 single sheet of paper (do not fold your paper)
  • You can look at images for ideas but it must be your own design not an exact copy.
  • Do not use words in your design (just a picture)
  • You can use black and white designs or work in colour but not neon, metallic colours or glitter as they do not reproduce well.
  • Please write your NAME, YEAR, HOUSE on the back

Annual MCM Master’s Art Competition

Celebrating Creativity and Inspiration

Welcome to the Annual Master’s Art Competition, a celebration of artistic expression and innovation!

The competition revolves around the theme “Artistic Journey” inviting pupils of all levels to showcase their unique talents. Explore the power of art to tell stories, evoke emotions, and spark conversations.

The competition is open to the whole school: Years 1 through to Upper Sixth. Only original works created by the submitting pupils are eligible.
