Nations Day

A massive thank you to all the parents involved in Nations Day 2023. This day is a celebration of heritage, culture and food from across the globe, representing the large number of nationalities here at Marlborough College Malaysia. All pupils, parents and beaks went all-out in their commitment to this celebration, therefore a huge thank you must be given to all those involved with this wonderful day.

The Master, Mr. Simon Burbury, stated in his College address:

“Marlborough College Malaysia – for me – is the feeling of being amongst such a rich and diverse tapestry of cultures. We are all part of one global family. Today’s Nations Day is a wonderful reminder of our shared humanity, breaking down barriers and building bridges that connect us. Embrace this opportunity to learn, share, and grow through conversations and interactions.”

Spotlight On: Music at MCM

After another fantastic Michaelmas Half Term Concert performed by our Prep School, as well as the IGCSE Music Recital this week, it seems only right to celebrate all things musical at MCM. A visitor will often hear the sound of singing, the beat of drums, or a piano melody drifting down the corridors and music is central to life here at the College.

Bug-Busting Notice

Our school community needs to work together to do some serious ‘Bug-busting’.

As we approach half term, this is an ideal time to start having a head louse blitz as if everyone commits to checking their child’s hair over the one-week holiday, Marlborough will hopefully be lice free. We ask everyone to check their child’s hair and check all family members, as the lice may have crawled from person to person.

Please regularly check for any eggs or lice.

Thank you for your cooperation.
