COLLEGE SPOTLIGHT

All the world’s a stage at MCM

A spotlight couldn’t be more fitting to shine on the magical world of the Drama Department, where independence, confidence, theoretical knowledge, and fun take centre stage. The schedule is already jam-packed and the weeks are going by at (Grease) lightning speed!

In the Senior School, our performances have already begun with the Upper Sixth’s performance of Shakespeare’s ‘Twelfth Night’ – revamped with an 80’s twist. Meanwhile, rehearsals are well underway for the pomade-filled, colourful, and downright cheesy, ‘Grease The Musical’.

Vapes (containing nicotine) aren’t supposed to be sold to under 18s in the UK and are banned in many countries. A fact at odds with the rising number of school-age users and the products’ colourful packaging and child-friendly flavours.

This week’s guide summarises what trusted adults need to know about the potential dangers of vaping for young people.
