Music Taster Evening 2023

On Wednesday, 23rd August, 2023, the Parents and Pupils enjoyed an evening dedicated to the exploration of instrumental music. This occasion, known as the Instrumental Music Taster Evening,  happens every year  and offers pupils a unique opportunity to acquaint themselves with a variety of musical instruments. 

The event showcased  the whole array of orchestral and popular instruments, from drumkit and guitars, to woodwind, strings, brass and keyboard. Attendees, including both parents and pupils, interacted with our accomplished team of peripatetic music instructors from Marlborough College Malaysia. These knowledgeable professionals, who provide instrumental lessons, were readily available to discuss the learning opportunities for pupils. Our music scholars were also on hand to assist with our youngest of pupils who were so keen to try out every instrument in the room.

It was wonderful to see the hall alive with excited pupils, all keen to start their journey of musical discovery, and learn to play an instrument.
