FoMCM Farewell coffee morning

Friday the 26th May saw the Friends of MCM host a farewell coffee morning for the Master and Mrs Stevens as they embark on the next step in their lives. Parents from within the Marlborough community attended the event to bid a fond farewell to the Master who has dedicated six years to the College and who now leaves to return to Europe.

As parents arrived, the Master and Mrs Stevens conversed with many, reflecting back on their years at the College and all the contributions they have made. Head of FoMCM Justin Regan made a short speech about the Master, and all he has done for the FoMCM during his time here. The importance of the Friends during the past six years has only grown stronger as they become an even more significant part of the community, and this is certainly helped by the commitment Master Stevens has shown to their organisation and community spirit.

The FoMCM gifted the Master and Mrs Stevens a commemorative plate by Royal Selangor as a memory of their time here to take with them back home. After the Master thanked the FoMCM for their dedication to the College and its community, all partook in a slice of wonderful celebratory cake.

Justin Regan, Head of the FoMCM notes, “we are so pleased to be able to hold a community event for the College to come together and say their fond farewells and thanks to The Master and Mrs Stevens. We wish them all the very best”
