Heat Management – outdoor activities
The Ministry of Education continues to require that no outdoor activities take place at any school in Malaysia. The Sports Department has done a wonderful job at moving activities indoors to allow our pupils to remain active.
The College will continue to monitor the situation, offer guidance and inform parents and staff accordingly.
Friends of MCM Singapore Drinks Evening

Tickets are SGD70 per person and will include canapés and two drinks (wine, beer & soft drinks).

Tenth Anniversary Lecture Series
with Professor Mushtak Al-Atabi
Purpose-Driven Education; Flourishing in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

On Tuesday 23rd May 2023, Marlborough College Malaysia will be holding the ninth of the series of Lectures that are being hosted in celebration of MCM’s Tenth Anniversary.
Professor Mushtak Al-Atabi is the Provost and CEO at Heriot-Watt University Malaysia with research interests in renewable energy, engineering, positive psychology and academic leadership. Throughout the lecture, Professor Mushtak will share the philosophy of purpose-driven education and provide examples of how to make this work for ourselves and our children.
Summer Term Dates
A reminder that the Summer Term half-term holiday commences on Friday 26th May at 3.30pm and the College will resume on Tuesday 6th June 2023 at 8.15am. Boarders return on Monday 5th June before 9.00pm. The Summer Term will end with Prize Day on Saturday 24th June 2023.

Wellbeing Gratitude Cards
In honour of Gratitude Week, pupils in Year 4 to Year 8 have been designing gratitude cards in Form time. Our Wellbeing representatives will select the best from each year group to be printed and sold to raise money for our charities. Staff, parents and pupils will be able to purchase these to give to someone they want to thank at the end of the year. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday 17th May. If your child wishes to enter the competition, they should send their design to their Form Wellbeing representative by Wednesday.

The House system is at the core of our philosophy at MCM, as every child is placed into a Prep or Senior House throughout the duration of their education. A Marlborough College Malaysia education is many things; it is holistic, collaborative and the very definition of exemplary teaching. “What Parents and Carers Need to Know about Telegram”
Telegram is a popular alternative social messaging app, similar to WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Telegram has been suspended in the UK by authorities’ over concerns about Telegram’s robust encryption, which encourages the app’s use as a conduit for extremist political material and illegal content.
In the guide you will find tips on a number of potential risks including a lack of age verification, inappropriate content and cyber-bullying.
