Senior Prefect gains International Scholarship Award

As our Sixth Form looks forward to university and beyond, one of our Senior Prefects, Sora, received the wonderful news that he has been awarded the International Scholarship Award for his studies in September 2023. Not only has Sora been awarded the International Scholarship Award, he has also gained the University of Toronto Scholarship to study at any of the three campuses of that highly esteemed university, an extremely prestigious accolade, demonstrating his dedication toward his studies.

Recipients of the International Scholarship Award are selected by a committee and both of these scholarships provide recognition to the university’s outstanding students. Additionally, the Mississauga campus offered him the Principal’s Entrance Award, further demonstrating his academic excellence. The International Scholar Award is intended to help with international tuition fees and the additional scholarships will help cover materials and living expenses.

“I feel incredibly blessed and grateful to have been recognized for these awards. I very much look forward to taking on this privilege of gaining a world-class education, especially in a city as vibrant as Toronto. I’m optimistic about what my future holds, and I will work hard to ensure that I will become the best version of myself that I can be. Endless thanks extend to my family, my friends and to the many members of the MCM community who have continually supported me and have aided my growth.”
