MCM Netball Festival

On the 28th February, Marlborough College Malaysia hosted over 30 teams for our Lent Term Netball Festival. We welcomed pupils in schools from Singapore and Malaysia playing our MCM teams with the festival running in both the morning and afternoon.

All teams played excellently with some brilliant goals throughout the year groups and some close calls for others. The Prep competition took place in the morning with rain clouds threatening a downpour over the courts, and all teams ready for some play come rain or shine.

Our teams played well against others, though they came up against some tough competition. Our Under 11s teams came 4th and 6th overall, and the U13s a close 3rd and 5th.

Our Senior teams proved they were ready for a healthy competition, kicking off with a 24-2 win against Tenby in our Under 16s age group. Our Under-15 A team competed excellently winning them gold, followed closely by our U15/16s B team who placed 2nd. Our Under-18 As also secured silver in their category, a brilliant score for all.
