Year 1 Christmas Nativity

Continuing on our festive journey throughout the College, Year 1 performed their Christmas Nativity on the 7th December. The Nativity followed angels travelling the world in search of different Christmas traditions.

During the performance, Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, the Kings and Shepherds entered through the Pre-Prep area, welcomed by their fellow classmates, staff and parents onto stage.

Poland, Malawi, USA, Australia and others were represented, showing what their different Christmas traditions were, and giving unique gifts to the baby Jesus. During the second half of the performance pupils sang through the different countries’ traditions, bestowing gifts such as stockings, Christmas hats and even a koala (from Australia) upon the baby Jesus.

The Nativity concluded with all holding hands and singing a final Christmas song for the parents who had come to watch.
