Shell Pantomime 2022

On the 7th November Shell drama pupils took to the stage to perform an excellent pantomime for our Pre-Prep pupils. The Shell group performed a rendition of Cinderella, a traditional fairytale story for the younger pupils. Featuring over 20 actors, the pantomime encouraged audience participation with cheers and boos emerging from the Pre-Prep children. 

After the performance had ended, and the Pre-Prep pupils were in awe of the spectacle, Shell actors ran a series of workshops for the children. These included making their own Fairy Godmother wand, learning how to ballroom dance and getting photos with the cast in costume and makeup. Ending the workshops on a festive note, Pre-Prep pupils used their ballroom dancing skills to dance with Shell to a number of Christmas songs. 

This is a brilliant opportunity for both the Shell pupils to perform to an audience, and for the Pre-Prep pupils to get a glimpse into the life of the theatre in Senior School.
