A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols 2022

Festivities at Marlborough College Malaysia continued as we held our annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. Boarders, day pupils, staff and parents joined the Prep and Senior choirs in a wonderful show of College spirit and Christmas joy.

The evening began with a welcome from the Master and College Chaplain before several pieces from the Prep and Senior choirs and lots of hearty singing by the congregation. The traditional nine lessons were read by pupils from throughout the College, members of SMT and the Chair of Friends of MCM, Mr. Regan.

Concluding with ‘Hark! The Herald Angels Sing’, and a collection which raised over 1600 RM for Childhood Leukaemia Research, the congregation then enjoyed Christmas treats and mulled wine after the service.
