House Football | Prep School

This term has brought another series of House Football matches for Prep School. Run over a two week period, these matches formed part of the House competitions, gaining points to add to their House totals to be announced at the end of the Michaelmas Term. All pupils played exceptionally well, with both brilliant football skills and superb House spirit.

The scores for Years 5-8 were announced in assembly by Mr. Wycling. Year 5 and 6 boys saw Chichester and Seymour reign victorious with Hunt a close second and Merlin coming third. Chichester won another first in the Year 7 and 8 boys matches too, closely followed by Hunt, Seymour and Merlin. However, Merlin brought it back in the Year 7 and 8 girls match, coming three points ahead of Seymour, followed by Chichester and Hunt.

The younger years competed a week after and also played some excellent matches. Some brilliant goals scored and others saved by Years 3 and 4 who celebrated their victories superbly. The points from these matches will be added on to the House totals.

A huge congratulations to all who participated in this year’s excellent House Football Competition.
