Throughout the Summer Term, the Year 3 pupils at Marlborough College Malaysia have been working hard to produce a wonderful show, Goodnight Princess, which they performed to their Year 4 peers on Tuesday 7th June 2022.
The play is about a princess who cannot get to sleep, so she asks her Magic Mirror and her friends in the castle to help her fall asleep. During the play, characters from well known fairy tales, such as Sleeping Beauty, the Queen from Snow White, and Goldilocks are introduced as they try to help the princess to fall asleep. Eventually, Rip Van Winkle, who fell asleep for 20 years, manages to help the princess, and the play ends as she finally falls asleep.
This was a wonderful play that the Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed watching, laughing along with all the silly jokes from the Magic Mirror.
