Year 5 & 6 Greek Myths Performance

Over the course of the Lent Term, Year 5 and Year 6 pupils have been working hard in their drama activity sessions to create and rehearse a retelling of two Greek Myths; Pandora’s Box and Theseus and the Minotaur. The set design was done by the MCM Awards activity group, who used old boxes as the main props which the actors used to build Pandora’s Box, King Minos’ throne and the maze in which Theseus defeats the Minotaur.

The pupils held separate performances for their fellow Year 5 and Year 6 pupils who all thoroughly enjoyed the epic fight scene in Theseus and the Minotaur and the drama in Pandora’s Box

We look forward to seeing what other dramatic tales the Year 5 and Year 6 pupils will bring to life next.
