This term, Year 3 has been reading The Tin Forest by Helen Ward. This is a book about a wasteland, full of discarded metal, where an old man lives, but he dreams of a forest. The old man creates a forest out of the tin and one day wakes to find a real forest in its place.
On Monday, 14th February 2022, something magical happened at Marlborough College Malaysia. The Tin Forest had come to the Prep School. A wonderful adventure through the Tin Forest led pupils to find the real Forest and the Old Man. The Old Man had come to answer the questions that the pupils had sent him.
Nobody knows who built this magical forest but it has certainly made this Monday morning a truly magical one for the pupils.
