On Tuesday, 14th January, Year 2 pupils took their first school trip to Sea Life Malaysia. The children were very excited to go on the bus journey and to see all the marine creatures. Following on from their learning in the classroom about Plastic Pollution they were able to link their thoughts when seeing the sea creatures up close. The organisation’s staff members were amazing and gave us a detailed workshop on the food chain and also how sea animals are affected by pollution in the oceans. After that, we had a chance to explore the different areas from the stingray bay to coral reef beach and we even challenged ourselves to find the Tiger Shark. The children had a lovely morning and gained even more knowledge, ready for their learning over the next two weeks.
