The first half term of the year was rounded off by a hugely successful Nations Day on October 22nd. The College was a riot of colour as the whole school – pupils and beaks alike in their own national dress or national colours – paraded behind their flags up to Court. We were treated to a series of global performances from pupils across the College including singing, martial arts and dancing representing a wealth of different countries. As always, there was much anticipation for the opening of the Food Hall; with 27 stalls featuring arts, crafts and food from the rainbow of nations represented at Marlborough College Malaysia – there truly was something for everyone. Back in the classroom Prep children were involved in lessons and activities to learn more about their classmates and the world around them. The day finished with two house quizzes in Prep and Pre-Prep – competing to see whose Nations Day knowledge was the best! An enormous thanks goes to all the beaks, parents and volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure this was possible and that it was the biggest and best Nations Day yet.
