On Tuesday, 11th September, ‘Friends of MCM’ held their Welcome Coffee Morning in the Wykeham Hall. The Master, Alan Stevens welcomed the large gathering of parents and also introduced the plans for the new College farm, which is proceeding at great pace, with expert advice and support from Folo, a local organic farming community in Johor Bahru.
As has become a trademark of our coffee mornings, parents enjoyed the hugely popular homemade cookies, whilst browsing the stalls of the many vendors invited from the local community; Friends’ merchandise; MCM goods; and second-hand uniform.
The morning was a great success and it was wonderful to see so many parents volunteer to help at the up and coming Nations’ Day – a true reflection of the spirit and diversity of the Marlborough College community.
