Friday, 27th April, saw the first Design and Technology Exhibition to be hosted at MCM, with pupils celebrating their achievements with an array of practical displays and portfolio work for visitors to enjoy. Projects from Year 5 to Year 13 transformed the Morris Foyer and learning spaces, with felt monsters, foosball tables and thirty-three IGCSE lamp projects lighting up the show.
The Exhibition had an air of celebration, as it marked the end of a year-long challenge for final year students, who are required to create extensive design folders and practical outcomes that take up to twelve months to complete. For pupils across the College, it provided the opportunity to see how their learning and skills will evolve as they progress throughout the subject. However most importantly, the Exhibition opened up the opportunity for pupils to share their successes in Design and Technology with friends and family, as well as providing a moment to reflect upon their achievements throughout the year.
Congratulations to all pupils that took part in the Exhibition this year and helped make it a memorable MCM event.
