Royal Wedding Supper

Best of British in Iskandar, Malaysia!

A traditional British boarding school could hardly allow the royal wedding to pass unnoticed and, despite the 7,000-mile distance between MCM and Windsor, Marlborough celebrated the event in style. The boarding community came together for a special supper and pupils enjoyed traditional fayre, including fish and chips, English trifle and, of course, Chicken Tikka Masala. All of this was happily consumed while watching the royal nuptials on a big screen in the Dining Hall. The hall was adorned with all things red, white and blue, the bunting was out in force and the Union Jacks were waved as the happy couple emerged from St. George’s Chapel. It really was a splendid occasion and we wish the royal couple well.
