Australian New Zealand University Fair

On Tuesday 8th March, a group of eager Sixth Formers attended the Australian and New Zealand University Fair at KSL Hotel in Johor Bahru. With over thirty universities from the region attending, including the top eight Australian and New Zealand universities, the event was not to be missed. Arriving at 3pm, the Sixth Formers, accompanied by Mr Hardee and Miss Fieldhouse spent the following two hours interviewing and researching many interesting universities. These included many prestigious universities, such as the University of Melbourne, Otago, Monash, and ANU, to smaller institutions such as SIT, ECU, and the University of Tasmania.

Mr Hardee, MCM’s University Guidance co-ordinator comments “It is our aim at MCM to help our students to attend top class universities all around the globe, and this Fair offers another realm of universities for Sixth formers to apply to” It was an excellent opportunity to speak to representatives from the universities in person so that we could ask questions about specific courses and university life. Overall, the day was a massive learning experience for all who attended.
