I was so impressed with the cast on their opening night of Little Shop of Horrors. James Gibson carried the show, with a fantastically energetic performance of Seymour and magic was created when Georgie Lisle appeared with a performance of Audrey far beyond her years. These leads have immeasurable talent, providing the audience with a feast of delightful songs.
Unparallelled comedy arrived when the devilish dentist, Divesh Subaskaran shocked the audience with his comic moves, strutting himself across the stage effortlessly, capturing the evil brute brilliantly.
The rocking Ronnettes provided us with melodious harmonies and complex dance routines with sass and style from start to finish. The dancers sprung energetically into action with the opening number and carried us into the drama of Skid Row.
This performance is the culmination of hours of work by pupils who have also managed to maintain normal school commitments and even sit exams. I cannot thank them enough for their professional approach at all times and truly could not ask for more.
