The Preparatory School comprises of the Pre-School, Pre-Prep, Lower Prep and Upper Prep. The Pre-School and Pre-Prep are situated in their own purpose-built school, just across the way from the newly completed Prep School building. We also have our own sports hall, swimming pool, libraries, dining halls and play areas.
Reception and Years 1 to 3 are based in the Pre-Prep area, and pupils move across to the Prep School building in Year 4. Our curriculum takes the best of the English National Curriculum and blends it with the richness of the international approach, encouraged by the exciting diversity of the region. Mandarin, Bahasa, Spanish and French are all offered during your child’s time with us, and we also offer the greater rigour of the Common Entrance course to ensure a smooth transition to the Senior School as well as such leading independent British public schools as Marlborough UK, Bryanston, Canford, Millfield, Oundle, Radley, St Swithuns and Uppingham, amongst others.
Our focus is very much on the individual child discovering the excitement of learning in a nurturing and stimulating environment, shaped by our commitment to Marlborough College’s ethos of ‘Conversation, Compassion and Companionship.’ Therefore, we also offer a full programme of creative, physical, cerebral and artistic activities as well as the mainstream team and individual sports.
Why should you choose Marlborough College Malaysia Preparatory School?
Passionate, professional teachers in a setting that offers the space and support for your child to explore the world around them and their own talents and interests ensure that our pupils are not just well-prepared for the next step in their journey, but are inquisitive, confident and happy.
