A lawyer by profession Heather most recently worked as a senior civil servant in the Department of Health in Northern Ireland and as a trustee of the charity Relate NI. In December 2017, she obtained a MSc in Public Policy, winning an academic prize for her dissertation on the topic of behavioural economics. She is passionate about making a wide contribution to school life and to the boarding community in particular. Heather enjoys singing and is committed to working to increase bursary provision in the College. She is also supporting the development of leadership potential, particularly amongst the Sixth Form, building on her own experiences at Harvard and as a Yale World Fellow.
