The Senior Day Houses are for pupils in Shell to Upper Sixth (Years 9-13). There are two Senior Boys' Day Houses, Thompson (Housemaster Mr Holden) and Sheppard (Housemaster Mr Gibbon), and two Senior Girls' Day Houses, Wallace (Housemistress Mrs Prime) and Butler (Housemistress Mrs Harper).
The working week at Marlborough is full. There is a wide-ranging curriculum and sports and activities are part of the day-to-day timetable. There are additional opportunities offered before and after school including the International Award, further sports and fitness, Arts, Societies and specific revision programmes.
Pupils’ personal growth is at the core of a Marlborough education and pupils will grow as individuals and as a team (in their Houses as well as sporting, debating and other teams). There are also opportunities for them to experience leadership and responsibility.
Whilst at Marlborough, the pupils are at the centre of an intricate structure that supports them through their academic, emotional and physical growth. The three Cs are central; Compassion, Companionship and Conversation.
