Master: RB Pick

Bob was educated at Aireborough Grammar School, Yorkshire and Grey College, Durham where he read Chemistry, completing his PGCE at Leeds University. He joined Marlborough College in 1980 as a teacher of Chemistry and also coached rugby and cricket, taking over as Master-in-charge of both these sports. He became Housemaster of Turner House in 1990, leaving in 1996 to become Second Master and Deputy Head of the College. He has been a governor of two Wiltshire Prep Schools for a total of 25 years.

Bob assumed the role of Deputy Master and Director of International Development in 2009 before taking up the position of Founding Master of Marlborough College Malaysia. He remains a Director of Marlborough College Overseas Ltd, the UK holding company of Marlborough College Malaysia. Bob is married to Ali and they have two daughters who both teach in senior boarding schools in the UK.

Head of the Senior School: Mark McVeigh 

Mark joined MCM in August 2013 after 22 years at Marlborough in Wiltshire. During that time he was Head of Chemistry (1991-1996), Housemaster of C2 (1996-2012) and International Liaison Officer (2012-2013). Mark was educated at Campbell College, Bristol University and Queen's Belfast and brings excellent experience of academic, pastoral and co-curricular life in independent schools to MCM.

Mark’s wife, Lisa, is in charge of the Medical Centre (Sani) at the College. They have two children, a daughter at Manchester University and a son at Oxford University.

Head of the Prep School: Tighearnan Mooney

Tig was educated in Ireland at Conleth's College and Trinity College Dublin where he read History. The move to Marlborough College Malaysia will be Tig's fourth prep school headship after time at Knighton House School, Dorset, St Aloysius' College Junior School, Glasgow and, for the last seven years, at St Edward's Junior School, Cheltenham.

He brings with him excellent experience of preparatory school education and infectious enthusiasm. He is married to Geraldine (a modern languages teacher) and they have three young children, two boys and a girl.

Deputy Head Pastoral/Co-Curricular: Nick Eatough

Nick and his wife Alison join the College from Millfield School, Somerset where Nick has been both Head of History and a Housemaster. Prior to this he was at Windsor Boys’ School where he ran a day house and was also Head of History. Educated at University College, London, where he read History, Nick has a wide variety of interests from cricket, clay pigeon shooting, classical music, camping and cooking to kayaking and walking. They have two children who will join the Prep School.

Director of Admissions: Sally Smart

Sally was born in Singapore and lived there until she was in her mid twenties. She was educated at Tanglin School until she was 11 and then went to boarding school in England at Moreton Hall School in Shropshire. Graduating from Keele University with a BA (Hons) in International Relations, Sally then moved to the City, working as a stockbroker specialising in the Japanese Equity Markets. After having three children, Sally went back to university and gained a PGCE at the Roehampton Institute, followed by a certificate in teaching Specific Learning Difficulties from the Royal Society of Arts. She then joined Finton House School in Wandsworth, London and became their Head of Learning Support. She taught at Finton House for 15 years before joining MCM as Head of Learning Support for the Prep School. She joined Admissions in April 2015.
