Over the penultimate weekend of the summer break, the first Summer Cricket Course was run at MCM. Over two days, children from 7-17 years old were developed in a multitude of cricket-based activities ranging from middle practices to stroke development. This has run on from a promising year within the College where interest in cricket is starting to grow throughout the pupil body. This opening gambit will hopefully kick-start the year and keep the enthusiasm high. The pupils were extremely keen and used their time with Ricky Anderson, Singapore Cricket Club Head Coach, to great effect. Thank you to all the coaches who helped out, especially Mr Gough, who certainly did his time outside in the heat.
