CAS Rawa Trip

A team of eight Lower Sixth form pupils spent the weekend on Rawa working to improve their understanding of environmental issues and oceanic awareness. They had planned projects in measuring coral cover, coral bleaching and increasing ocean acidification and carried out measurements that are an ongoing study initiated by last year’s pupils. They interviewed staff and assisted in a beach clean-up operation. All-in-all, an eye-opening experience; one that they hope to share in presentations to the rest of the school.
