Kranji Remembrance Day Service 2018

On Sunday 11th November the boarding community, Common Room and MCM families joined, dignitaries, military personnel and religious leaders at Kranji War Memorial in Singapore for the annual Remembrance Day service. This year’s service marked exactly 100 years to the day since the First World War ended, with the signing of an armistice which came into effect at 11 o’ clock in the morning on the 11th of November, 1918.

The joint choir of Marlborough, Tanglin and Dulwich pupils sang beautifully and the reading of the poem “In Flanders Fields” by Alexandra Harkins, Upper Sixth, set the scene before the Master laid a wreath on behalf of the College.
