Remembrance Assembly

The Senior School’s annual Remembrance Assembly took place on Wednesday 8th November.  The Master gave a powerful introduction highlighting the contribution made by major Public Schools to the First World War, including Marlborough College UK. Pupils presented on a number of Old Marlburians who were amongst the 749 individuals who lost their life from Marlborough College UK. This was followed by a particular focus on the Battle of Gallipoli and the contribution made to the War by Australians and New Zealanders. Music from Schindler¹s List added to this moving occasion which ended with the Last Post and a two minute silence.
