Carol Service 2016

In the presence of the Archbishop of the Anglican Communion of South East Asia, the Rt Revd Datuk Dr Ng Moon Hing, and the College Chaplain, the Archdeacon of Johor Bahru, Revd Edward John, the Marlborough community gathered for their annual Carol Service on the final Sunday of the Michaelmas term, 11th December 2016.

The congregation was treated to some beautiful music before the service, performed by the Upper Prep School Choir, the String Quartet, the Senior School Choir and the Christmas Ensemble.

The traditional service of lessons and carols included contributions from the Prep School Orchestra and Choir, the Treble Choir and the Senior School Choir. Six pupils and the Master read the lessons and the blessing was given by the Archbishop to conclude a splendid service.

The retiring collection was in aid of ‘Care to Share’, a charity currently being supported by the College Outreach team.

Suitable Christmas refreshments were enjoyed by all on Court after the service.
